It’s All in the Name

In a clear case of calling it like it is, these two Latin American companies phonetically named their products after the English word.



I just quizzed my host mom and sister on the meaning of these brands, and they had no idea. When I told them that what they were pronouncing was “food” and “juice,” they thought it was hilarious, and the names finally made sense.
